Puka Nacua, Then A Rookie Quarterback Committee

Puka Nacua, James Cook III, Nico Collins, Zay Flowers. That is a receiving corps with two genuine alphas and a backfield with a workhorse. Harold Fannin Jr. at tight end is a rookie bet but a cheap one, and TreVeyon Henderson gives the backfield explosive upside behind Cook. The skill positions are in good shape.

The quarterbacks aren't. Bo Nix is the starter, Tyler Shough is the second arm, and Shough is a quarterback who spent seven years in college football and arrives as a rookie older than several established starters. Jacoby Brissett is the third, a professional caretaker whose entire career has been keeping a seat warm. In a superflex with six-point passing touchdowns, that trio is asking a lot of Nix and hoping the rest sorts itself out. Three quarterbacks means the byes are covered. It does not mean the points are.

The back half went shopping for names with stories attached. J.K. Dobbins has an injury history that has defined his career. Mike Evans is thirty-two and still producing, which is impressive and also finite. Travis Hunter is the two-way experiment nobody has ever run at this level, and fantasy has no idea what to do with a receiver who also plays corner. RJ Harvey adds a fourth running back. Ka'imi Fairbairn and the Jaguars defense arrive at the correct time, which is late. Colin drafted good football players and then handed the most valuable position in the format to a committee that would look conservative in a single-quarterback league.
